Colt New Army & Navy Revolver
.38 Long Colt caliber. 6" barrel length. SN: 110168. Double-action swing out cylinder revolver with bell shaped hard rubber grips showing the "{Rampant Colt Logo}". Item shows a blued metal finish overall with the sides of the hammer left in the white. Grips are brown and feature checkering overall. Left barrel marked "COLT D.A. .38" with "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A./PATENTED AUG. 5. 1884 NOV. 6. 88. MAR. 5. 95." Crane shows assembly number "550" with cylinder showing "152". Manufactured in 1898.
Condition:
Excellent. Bore and chambers are minty and clean. Overall blued finish shows some scratches, faint drag lines to cylinder, and discolored spot beneath cylinder latch. Sides of hammer have grease residue and some flecks of patina forming. Colt logo above grip on left frame shows a weak left side. Action is functional and locks tightly.
