Colt Model 1878 Frontier

.32 WCF, 5.5" barrel, SN: 430. Double-action revolver with fixed fluted 6-shot cylinder, exposed spur hammer, cartridge extractor, and fixed notch and blade sights. Nickel metal finish and mother of pearl grips. One line Hartford address is marked on barrel. Manufactured sometime in 1878.


Fair. Bore is frosty with heavy traces of residue and pitting. Retains traces of nickel with moderate oxidation and some scattered pitting and wear. Action loose, but functional. Has military lanyard ring that appears to have been broken. Grips with wear and chipping.
