.36 caliber, 7.5" barrel, S/N 2397. Brass backstrap and triggerguard, one-piece walnut grip, sub-inspector's initials on the triggerguard. Comes with factory letter showing it was shipped to the U.S. Naval Department on October 7, 1861.
Condition:
Overall a very nice revolver. Sharp and crisp markings, you can still read the engraved markings on the outer edge of the cylinder. Barrel still retains traces of blue finish.The right side of the barrel has muzzle wear cause from holster wear. Cylinder scene is nice and visible. The frame has some case colors showing. Grips are very good.
