Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver in Contemporary Case

.31 caliber. 5" octagonal barrel length. SN: 188064. Bare metal with brass triggerguard and gripstraps. Walnut grip with two symmetrical cutaways to bottoms. Percussion revolver with hammer notch and post front sight. Item features a 6-shot cylinder roll marked with stagecoach scene and single line Colt New York barrel address. Serial numbers are matching and bottom strap has illegible script engravings. Included with item is wood case with burgundy felt interior, a bullet mold, powder flask, container with copper percussion caps, and key for case.

Condition:

Good. Bore is dark. Finish is bare and has scattered pitting overall. Wood grip has some scratching and light losses. Wood case shows scratching.
