* Colt Detective Special 4th Issue
.38 Special caliber. 2" barrel length. SN: AD0925. Double-action snubnose revolver with swing-out cylinder and topstrap groove with front blade sights. Blued metal finished overall with smooth wood grips displaying "{Colt Medallions}" to each panel. Sides of hammer left in the white. Barrel signed "DETECTIVE SPEC/.38 SPECIAL CTG.". Front sight is a long ramp while a shroud extends below the barrel to protect the ejector.
Condition:
Excellent. Bore and chambers are bright but have some powder fouling to be cleaned. Blued finish shows faint drag lines to cylinder and discolored area to right frame. Right grip medallion shows some loss of color while base of grip has some mars near bottom of frame. Hammer has discolored spots to both sides. Action functions and locks tightly.
