Colt 1st Model New Line .32RF Revolver
.32RF, 2.25" barrel, S/N 2579. Nickel finish, blued hammer, trigger & screws, varnished smooth rosewood bird's head grips. Standard 2-line barrel address, matching serial numbers on rear face of cylinder, on frame under grips, under barrel and weakly in ink in grips. 5-shot fluted cylinder with stop slots on sides at rear of flutes. An illegible name is scratched inside the right grip.

Condition:
Fine. Retains most of the nickel finish which has developed a slightly milky and hazy patina, showing some loss due to flaking and high edge wear. Mechanically functional, clear markings, fair bore is pitted and oxidized. Grips with wear and handling marks, retaining only some traces of finish.
