.45 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: 613880. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with removable 7-shot magazine, exposed hammer, short grip safety, and fixed u-notch and half moon sights. Parkerized metal finish with checkered brown plastic grips. Features checkering to short spur hammer, partially stepped/graduated thumb safety, slide lock, and magazine release. Markings include standard two-line manufacturer patent dates and Hartford address surrounding rampant Colt stamp to left of slide. Left side of frame only features a numerical (11) proof to trigger guard, and an (Eagle Head/S12) Springfield proof behind trigger guard cutaway. Right side of slide shows standard model name marks. Right side of frame features several marks behind trigger guard cutaway including a (Flaming bomb) mark, Frank Krack (FK) inspector mark, Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) rework stamp, along with serial number and "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marks. This rework Colt 1911 was originally manufactured sometime between late 1918 and early 1919 before production was suspended.
Good. Bore is bright with a tiny amount of residue near breech, and rifling is sharp. Finish is in good condition but shows light scratches and some pitting under rework finish.
