Collection of 100+ Photographs of Locomotives, Ca Early 20th Century

Lot of approx. 109 photographs, ranging in size from 3.25 x 2.5 to 9.75 x 8 in., featuring engines and train cars from railroad lines such as the Baltimore and Ohio, the Delaware and Hudson, the Reading, and the Central Railroad of New Jersey. Photographs of note feature two women in elegant outerwear posing before an automobile, with a train car marked for Delaware & Hudson in the background; a car marked "202" with African American passengers; and the scene of an accident, with "Wreck on the Dry Fork,R.R. / Near Job, W.Va. / 430." written in the negative. Also with an assortment of railroad ephemera, including RPPCs, a monthly punch-card ticket for the New York Central & Hudson River Railroad from 1910, an engineer's invoice for work performed on the "Rochester & Syracuse Direct Rail Road" from 1852, and an Assignment of Rights document for fourteen shares of the capital stock of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad from 1885.
