** CMP Springfield Armory M1-C Garand with Original Box, Scope, Paperwork

.30-06 M1. 24" barrel length. SN: 3495528. Civilian Marksmanship Program M1-C rifle with adjustable rear aperture and blade sights that have ear protectors. Parkerized metal finish and walnut stock with plain semi pistol grip and forearm. Features an M1-C scope mount, sling swivels, checkered metal butt trap, and bayonet lug. Markings include "U.S. RIFLE/CAL. .30 M1/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/3495528" to rear of receiver, and has a barrel that is marked "S-A-1-45" to right side. Wood stock is marked "124" and "159" to top of wrist, and has two circled "P" marks stamped to bottom of grip. To left side, wood stock is marked with a boxed "S.A./NFR" mark for Springfield Armory/Norman F. Ramsey, followed by a weak {crossed cannons} stamp. Item includes original CMP box, an M84 Telescope marked "46377" with OD carrying case, K-Line laced leather cheek pad, machined M2 Flash Hider, OD sling, and CMP paperwork. 


Very good. Bore is bright and rifling is clean. Finish is strong overall with some light scratching and faint pit marks to gas cylinder. Wood stock has some scratching and losses overall. Box has some fraying and losses to exterior. Both throat and muzzle erosion have a reading of about 1.
