Cleaver was a prominent writer, political activist, and early leader of the Black Panther Party. This Wanted poster was issued on December 13, 1968, in response to Cleaver's involvement in the raid on Oakland police officers in the aftermath of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination.

Mutulu Shakur (born Jeral Wayne Williams, b.1950), the stepfather of Tupac Shakur, is a political activist who was involved with the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM), the Republic of New Afrika, and a former member of the Black Liberation Army. He was added to the FBI's most-wanted list for his involvement in a 1981 robbery of an armored truck in which two police officers died. Arrested in early 1986 and convicted in 1988, he remains incarcerated.
