Classic Silver-Mounted Flintlock Pistol by Joseph Heylin Circa 1750's

.660 bore diameter, 9" tapered octagonal-to-round barrel. Two hallmarks on the breech. Nicely chiseled silver furniture; silver sideplate is shaped in a panoply of arms with the initials COB.  Stepped flat lockplate and hammer, gold bushed touch hole. Walnut stock moldings around the lockplate and sideplate.

Barrel and lock have been cleaned long ago and has begun to patinate. Silver is excellent. The stock is excellent. An excellent example of early flintlock pistol silver mounted.
