The Richmond was crippled in Admiral Farragut's attempt to pass the guns of Port Hudson on the night of March 14, 1863, with fifteen of her officers and crew killed or wounded as a result.
Together, 2 CDVs, uncredited but known to be by McPherson & Oliver, each approx. 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 in. on cardstock mount. Condition generally good with even toning, some soiling and few spots to images; edge and corner wear to mounts.
