Sixth plate tintype of a seated officer holding his sword and wearing a red-tinted sash, his buttons and insignia highlighted in gold. (Strong clarity and contrast, few minor nicks in surface where plate meets mat.) Housed in thermoplastic case with grape/leaf motif (chip on back cover top edge, crack at hinge).
