[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate tintype of bearded Union infantryman. N.p.: n.p., [1860s].

Sixth plate hand-colored tintype. (Few spots.) Housed in full thermoplastic case [Berg 3-141R] (upper hinge slightly loose, small crack at hinge).

An unidentified, grizzled Company "B" infantryman provides a study in contrast. He appears in a sharp light blue military vest beneath a rough sack coat worn haphazardly. The recently issued black felt M1858 Hardee hat bears a brass bugle beneath the "B." Although difficult to discern, there might be a reverse regimental number "2" within the horn. An incredibly sharp, superior portrait.
