Sixth plate ruby ambrotype of extremely young infantry private that evokes pity rather than any semblance of martial prowess. The subject stands shorter than his .69 cal. musket and fixed bayonet while his 4-button sack coat weighs on his slight frame. (Spotting to plate, tarnish near mat opening.) Housed in half pressed paper case (some surface wear).
