Civil War M1860 Staff Officer's Dress Sword Belonging to General Thomas H. Ruger, 3rd Wisconsin,

30" double-edged blade with a center fuller, blade etched with military motifs. Marked on ricasso Jahn, Philadelphia and on the reverse Clauberg, Solingen. Blued metal handle and brass wire wrapping, handle with gold gilt knuckle bow and pommel. Scabbard is gold gilt metal. General Ruger would have owned this sword during the Civil War.
