[CIVIL WAR]. Full plate tintype of a heavily armed Union cavalry trooper. N.p.: n.p., [1860s].

6 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. hand-colored tintype showing unidentified Union private in regulation 12/13 button shell jacket with rectangular eagle plate issued to cavalry. He also holds a cavalry officer's sword. In his belt is tucked a Lefaucheux revolver and Bowie knife. Paper label on verso has mostly peeled off. (Some wear to lower edge of plate, a few bends, including upper right corner.)
