17 in. ebony fife with painted attribution to "John Walsh 9 NYHZ" and German silver ferrules (discoloration and wear to ferrules, 4 3/4 in. long crack to wood, surface imperfections throughout). Portion of "CROSBY" mark still visible. -- 16 7/8 in. ebony fife with German silver ferrules (some discoloration to ferrules, surface scratches throughout instrument, with a few deeper scratches to wood). Complete "CROSBY" mark with "GC" insignia visible.
