Civil War Carved Pipe of a USCT Figure
Carved briarwood pipe, approx. 2 in. Bowl of head form, with attached swing-top lid meant to resemble a kepi of the United States Colored Troops. Small holes in eyes, nose, and mouth to allow air to reach the tobacco when lid is shut. Small silver band at mouthpiece with partial hallmarks.
