Two cartes with backmark of J.H. Van Stavoren, Metropolitan Gallery, Nashville. One of those is signed, but we cannot quite make out the surname. The only other carte with a backmark has Larcombe, Nashville.
One gentleman in uniform is photographed full length and appears to be a captain (if we are seeing the shoulder patches correctly), but there is no unit or name identification.
Condition:
Most are good but a couple have some damage along the bottom edge.
