George M. Winwood, who served in the 74th Ohio Volunteers but died of disease in August 1863 at Nashville. Carte with backmark of Morse's Gallery of the Cumberland, Nashville, TN.
Two cartes with backmark of J.H. Van Stavoren, Metropolitan Gallery, Nashville. One of those is signed, but we cannot quite make out the surname. The only other carte with a backmark has Larcombe, Nashville.
One gentleman in uniform is photographed full length and appears to be a captain (if we are seeing the shoulder patches correctly), but there is no unit or name identification.
Condition:
Most are good but a couple have some damage along the bottom edge.
