Ninth plate, hand-colored tintype of two Union soldiers wearing kepis. N.p., n.d. (Horizontal creasing in plate, spotting/discoloration to mat and preserver.) Housed in geometric union case [Berg 3-322] (some soiling to surface, with nicking and chipping to edges and corners and some spots of loss to velvet pad). Approx 1 in. IV Army Corps triangle badge affixed to velvet pad (not removed for inspection). 


Ninth plate tintype of a Union soldier, his uniform piping and buttons highlighted in gold. N.p., n.d. (Darkening and some discoloration to image, spotting to mat.) Housed in pressed paper case (wear to surface with some finish loss throughout and repair to spine). Approx. 1 1/2 in. II Army Corps shamrock-form badge affixed to velvet pad (not removed for inspection).
