7 1/4 x 6 1/2 in. silver gelatin photograph (soiling, loss to right edge, few short tears repaired with transparent tape). Clipped newspaper captions, notations, and ink stamps on verso.

Although uncredited, the photograph is attributed to Ira Wilmer (Will) Counts Jr. (1931-2001) an Arkansas photographer best known for his photographs documenting the 1957 desegregation of Central High School in Little Rock (Pulaski County).
