.50 caliber, 8.5" octagonal-to-round barrel, no S/N. Bright finish, hardwood stock, chiseled and open work iron mounts. Highly figured miquelet lock with grooved frizzen decorated with strange and somewhat unsettling humanoid motifs that more closely resemble escapees from Area 51 than anything human. This strange motif is repeated throughout the chiseled and open work mounts on the pistol. Includes a wooden ramrod.
Condition:
Good. Metal with a dull pewter patina, showing some scattered surface oxidation and discoloration. Lock needs mechanical attention, bore heavily oxidized, dark and dirty. Stock with scattered handling marks and an old crack in the grip on the reverse.
