Beautiful Mounted Japanese Sword (Katana) with Gold Attribution
27" blade with magnificent choji midare hamon with tobiyaki spot. Nakago with four mekugi-ana, one plugged, as well as a gold tameshigiri result. Gold foil habaki. Solid silver signed tsuba decorated with waves and lotus flowers. Silver fuchi with floral menuki highlighted in gold. Pine needle lacquer scabbard with silver kurikata and long silver sayajiri.
Includes N.T.H.K. Origami dated Showa 54 (1979).

Blade with a lot of activity within the hamon. Some chips to scabbard.
