Beaumont M1871/88

11.3x50mmR. 32" barrel length. SN: 180. Bolt action rifle with a 4-shot metallic cartridge magazine, and flip up ladder and blade sights. Blued metal finish. Plain straight grip walnut stock and forearm. This item appears to be an 1888 conversion, and features a "1876" date to left side of barrel, an "1891" to buttplate, another serial number "1514", and various Dutch proof marks. Wood stock has a "{Masstricht 1877 shield}" cartouche and several other small Dutch cartouches. Item has serial number "180" marked to all 1888 converted parts. 


Fair. Bore is frosty. Finish to barrel has been replaced by a deep mottled brown patina, and finish to receiver area has worn away almost entirely. Scratching and oxidation are scattered overall. Wood stock has light scratching and nicks overall. Item is missing mid-barrel band.
