** Ballester-Molina Pistola Automatica

.45 ACP/11.25mm. 5" barrel length. SN: 29055. Single-action semi automatic pistol with exposed checkered spur hammer, long grip safety spur, military lanyard ring, and fixed v-notch and blade sights. Parkerized metal finish and vertical grooved walnut grips. Markings include standard manufacturer marks to left of slide, and "{Argentine military crest} EJERCITO ARGENTINO" to right of slide. Serial number is marked to top of slide, top of barrel, and to right side of frame, with what appears to be a rack number "61426" stamped to left side of arched mainspring housing. Item is without magazine. This pistol model was the successor to the Sistema Colt 1927 when it became too expensive to produce for Argentine police and military forces. Manufactured sometime between 1938 and 1953.

Good. Bore is frosty and rifling is good. Losses to finish around raised edges with some scratches to finish overall. There are some heavy bites, scratches, and wear to grooves of wood grips.
