Bacon & Co. Percussion Pistol

.34 caliber. 4" barrel length. SN: 2. Single-shot rifled percussion pistol with ring trigger and top mounted hammer. Item displays a pewter finish with smooth two piece walnut grips. Barrel is octagonal for half its length before transitioning to round. Item features small rear notch and front blade sights. Floral scroll decorates the frame and backstrap. Barrel is signed "BACON &CO./NORWICH C. T./CAST STEEL". Mainspring is shimmed with wood inserts beneath grip panels.

Condition:

Good. Bore is dark with patina throughout and pitting near breech. Metal finish overall is is a brown patina with pitting around nipple. Nipple has been shattered. Action is functional but heavy. Wood grips are smooth and fit tightly. Action screw is not timed and shows signs of manipulation.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to organize the export of their firearms to their country of residence. Cost of shipping to an exporter will be included on your invoice as the shipping cost, however the cost of exporting is solely the buyer's responsibility.
