Lot of 6 photographs with African American subject matter. Includes: 

Cabinet card of two men holding vases of flowers. M. Goulart: New Bedford, Connecticut, 1898. They wear dark suits and stand on either side of a wicker chair with a hat resting on the seat. "Mourning Brothers / Clyde & Jonathan Bern / July 1898 / New Bedford, Conn." inscribed on verso. Heavy spotting to mount verso.

Card-mounted photograph, 5 x 7 in., of African American sharecroppers with white landowner, n.d., ca 1890s. Several children are visible, both in the first row behind the landowner and in the background, seated on top of a wooden wagon. Spotting throughout photograph, with areas of staining and damage/loss at lower left corner. Mount with heavy stains and tears, including loss to entirety of lower left corner.

Cabinet card of two children enacting a scene from Uncle Tom's Cabin. Frank Wendt: Boonton, New Jersey, n.d., ca 1900s. "Topsy + Eva From Show" inscribed on image, with stamp on mount recto reading, "Alice Sargent & Jessie Damon." Wendt's "Ivory Process" imprint appears below. Overall toning with some staining and unevenness to mount edges.
