6.5x50mm caliber. 19" barrel length. SN: 12633. Bolt-action carbine with rear tangent notch and red-painted inverted V front sights. Item shows a blued metal finish with polished interior receiver and semi-pistol grip stock with full length upper handguard. Receiver shows the mark of the "{Nagoya Arsenal}" with weak series marking. Receiver shows well defined chrysanthemum and type markings. Bolt serial numbers do not match receiver and dustcover shows struck and reassigned serial numbers. Sling has no production markings and shows brass washed copper buckle with black patent leather exterior. Stock has weak finger groove and shows round edges around receiver and triggerguard indicating it has been sanded and refinished.

Condition:
Good. Bore is very bright with strong rifling. Overall metal finish shows weakening to barrel and furniture with patina forming to breech area and within receiver. Triggerguard and buttplate show a brown patina as do barrel bands. Leather sling shows some abrasions to interior surfaces with tarnish to brass lugs and buckle in addition to oxidation. Some crazing visible near sling swivels.
