.36 caliber, 4.5" octagonal-to-round barrel, no S/N. Bright finish, walnut bag grips. Barrel marked CAST STEEL / POCKET RIFLE on top flat. These otherwise unmarked underhammer pistols were long ago attributed to being made in Anderson, TX, thus the name. However, no substantial proof has been found of the attribution and the similarity to those guns made by Blunt & Syms suggest they may be the real makers. The "pocket rifle" marked examples are fairly scarce.
Good. Metal evenly oxidized with a mottled light and dark gray patina, scattered pitting and some erosion. Legible margins, mechanically functional, heavily oxidized bore. Grips with some scattered bumps and dings.
