a fine free-hand and cobalt-stenciled jar, with thistles and floral flourishes, stripes and dots at rim.  

Height 13 inches.

 

Provenance:Ex. Crocker Farm, 2014, Lot 242.

Condition:

Chips on both lug handles. A tight 7 1/4" hairline surface crack from shoulder to midsection, barely visible on front, and not on the inside. Possible as made.
