30.25" spearpoint blade with 21" median fuller, 1" wide at forte. Brass single-branch guard with wire-wrapped shagreen grip. Obverse ricasso marked with three-line script Ames manufacture marking. Leather scabard with brass fittings. Throat marked with three-line Ames stamp. Blade etched throughout with floral and martial themes.
Blade is mostly bright with some light scattered oxidation. Some fine details visible on blade and guard. Guard shows some minor dulling and tarnishing. Throat is slightly loose. Scabbard shows some scattered marks and scratches with some damage to chape.
