Ames Model 1842 Percussion Navy Pistol,

.52 caliber, 6" barrel, with military markings at breech and dated 1844. Lockplate marked N.P Ames, Springfield, Mass. Marked USN and dated 1843 at rear. Walnut stock with brass furniture.

Condition:Barrel and lock with pitting and is grey-to-brown. Stock with nicks and dings. Brass furniture has nicely tarnished.
