Sixth plate ambrotype of a young man with coiffed hair and manicured mustache, holding a fiddle, his cheeks lightly tinted pink. (Some loss to lacquer on back of plate). Housed in full case (spine repaired with black tape, surface wear). The subject may be of mixed race, possibly Creole. Although uncredited, the ambrotype was found in Louisiana and was possibly produced by a Louisiana photographer as per consignor.
