Alphabet and Numerical Samplers

European and American, 19th-20th century. A group of three samplers including one with a crown decoration and initialed MC, one with dog, squirrel, ladder and key decorations inscribed ECAD, and one by Esther Strong made in the tenth year of her age / Woodbury / August the 26 1812 and with the phrase Ever on the Wing at bottom, all framed, including one in a cross frame; largest 14.25 x 16.25 in. (frame).
