Allen and Wheelock Derringer

.22 caliber, 3" octagonal barrel, S/N 715.  Steel finish with two-piece smooth wood grips.  Barrel marked with two-line Allen & Wheellock address.  Seven-shot cylinder shows scenes including panoplies of arms, American Indian, weapons, a town scene, and a horse with rider.  Left grip fitted with silver escutcheon.  


Steel finish shows some scattered rust and oxidation.  Grips show some minor wear consistent with age and use.  Action is mostly non-functional with hammer moving but cylinder shows some issues.  Bore is dark.
