[AFRICAN AMERICANA] -- [EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Photograph of four armed African American subjects. N.p., [ca early 20th century].

4 3/4 x 3 1/2 in. silver gelatin photograph on 6 3/4 x 4 7/8 in. cardstock mount (slight ripple in print, likely a result of how the image was mounted, some surface soiling and minor residue; mount appears to have been trimmed), some corner/edge wear to mount). Outdoor photograph showing four African American subjects, including three young men and a toddler-aged boy, each pointing a gun at an unknown target. The man at left holds a model 1873 Winchester rifle, the man at center holds a Colt revolver, and the man at right holds a side-by-side shotgun. The small boy holds a single-shot rifle.
