Grouping of African Americana-related photographs and print, including military panoramic photograph.

The lot includes: (1) Original WWII Long Panoramic Photograph from the Naval Training Station at Great Lakes, Illinois. Photo of an all African American Company. Caption, written in the negative, reads: "CO. 1842 K-Hensley - C. SP. CO. COMDR - January 13, 1944 - U.S. NAVAL TRAINING STATION - GREAT LAKES, ILL." Photo measures 8 x 21.5 in. ; (2) 8 x 10 in. Photo of a Minstrel Show, 1946, w/ accompanying letter from the President of a Law Book Co., thanking the recipient for participating in the show; (3) 5" x 13" photo (circa 1920) of a group of men on stage, in tuxedo; (4) Circa 1940s radio advertising fan (7 x 9 in. plus handle) for "Jamup and Honey, Stars of WSM Grand ole Opry" picturing Jamup and Honey (who was "Honey Wilds" a country music star); (4) Performance brochure, put out by High Point, N.C. Chamber of Commerce for the "Jaycee Jollies of 1952" which was performed from Marcy 19-22, 1952. Pictures performer on the cover, worn but complete; and (5) colored print of "Little Black Sambo," circa 1940s, with plot summary of the book below title.
