a squat semi-ovoid form with tooling on neck and two applied lug handles, neck with partially legible chop mark ..I.LIN and a 4 gallon capacity mark.  

Height 13 1/2 inches.


Rim with a number of old, shallow interior chips from heavy use.  Body with tight spider on right lower side, several tight hairlines in base, one extending into lower rear of jar. Chip under proper right handle.
