a fine and large globular jar with wide, open mouth, applied lug handles, and tooled collar and shoulder, the front and back sides decorated with well-executed cobalt floral devices typical of the Remmey pottery of Philadelphia, the handles with cobalt at base, conjoined with two swags, and the rim with 5 chop-mark capacity device.
Height 16 x diameter at mouth 9 1/2 inches.
Rim with five shallow chips, one visible on front right, remaining on sides and rear.
