Late 18th/Early 19th Century
with two applied handles, tooled neck, the body having two cobalt-glazed chevrons joining handles and two roulette impressed bands of decorations at the shoulder.
Height 9 3/4 inches x diameter 6 3/4 inches.
This jar bears a marked resemblance to jars produced by the South Amboy, New Jersey pottery of Warne and Letts who employed the same roulette stamping and upturned open handles.

Overall browning, chipping to rim, and minor pot stone near one handle, with tight hairline crack visible to exterior and interior (7 inches); accretions to interior; inventory number to underside.
