English (London), 1765. A sterling silver baluster coffee pot by John Swift, the whole with repoussé and chased Rococo motifs including Chinese figures, pagodas and birds, on a slight domed foot, having a wooden handle. With full hallmarks to underside, maker & standard marks to lid, and heraldic engraving of a double-headed eagle; ht. 12.75 in., total wt. 39.92ozt (1241.5g) (including handle).
