A slant front bureau in walnut with satinwood inlays, having a molded surface over a double-panel inlaid slant front writing surface with fleur-de-lis and compass inlay, the fitted interior consisting of a central prospect door flanked by eight molded drawers with brass pulls,the block serpentine case with three inlaid drawers and conforming base, rising on bracket feet; ht. 44.5, wd. 53, dp. 28 in.
