19th Century Image Group, Lot of 11

Lot of 11 photographs, primarily CDVs, of various nineteenth-century subjects, including children, adults, and a black poodle. Adult subjects are all prominent figures of the day: U.S. Senator Charles Sumner, financier and "robber baron" James Fisk, Jr. (2), author Nathaniel Hawthorne (vignette), and Empress Eugenie (after painted portrait). CDVs with children include a smartly dressed boy with a cape and hat, a pair of dour children in fancy attire, and a baby in a pram, identified on verso as "Vernie Henri[?] / five month old."

Also features two tintypes, one of a bearded man smoking a pipe and the second of three men in hats with cigars.
