Swiss Music Box with Interchangeable Cylinders

Swiss, late 19th-early 20th century. A music box in a burled walnut case, serial no. 38205, having a 13 inch cylinder and playing six tunes, with a decoratively engraved damper pad featuring Helvetia and U.S. medallions, the case having a single conforming drawer storing three interchangeable cylinders, raised on a stepped base and decorated with brass and mother of pearl inlays; case ht. 12, wd. 37.5, dp. 18.5 in.
