American, late 19th century. A Regina folding coffin top music box playing 27 inch discs, with a dual comb mechanism and brass bedplate, serial no. 27048. The box features carved oak construction with turned bracket columns, molded frame sides and carved bracket feet. The box sits on a beautiful oak stand with carved lion claw feet and columns. The storage compartment includes fourteen 27 in. discs; music box ht. 12, wd. 34.5, dp. 19.5 in., stand ht. 35.25, wd. 36, dp. 19.5 in.
