**1917 DWM Luger P.08
9mm Parabellum. 4" barrel length. SN: 620. Single-action semi automatic pistol with removable brown plastic knobbed 8-shot magazine, military lanyard ring, stock lug, and fixed v-notch and ramp sights. Blued military finish, silver accoutrements, and checkered walnut grips. Markings include Birmingham House (Crown/BNP) proofs to left of barrel and frame, and Imperial German marks to right of slide and top of barrel. Serial number is marked to slide, frame, and barrel, with partial serial numbers marked to small parts. Partial serial number "35" is marked on trigger, and is the only non-matching part on this item. Magazine has what appears to be a Swiss cross to right of plastic knob, and a stylized "P" marked to rear of magazine. "GESICHERT" marked under safety toggle.
Condition:
Good to very good. Bore is frosty and has some light oxidation, pitting. Retains most of finish, with some thinning to trigger plate. There are scattered spots of light surface oxidation, pinprick pitting, and small scratches overall. Small silver parts appear to have strawing or yellow-brown patina developing.
