1901 Production Colt Single Action Army

.32-20, 5.5" barrel, S/N 216561 (mfg. ca1901). Blued and color casehardened finish, checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt logo grips. Matching numbers on frame, triggerguard and butt. Grips scratch numbered 2948 are mismatched. Standard one-line Colt address on barrel, 3-date in 2-line patent mark on smokeless frame, kidney shaped ejector head. A Colt factory letter accompanies the gun confirming the configuration and noting that it was shipped to Marshall-Wells Hardware Company in Duluth, MN on October 19, 1901.

Very good. Retains some strong traces of blue in protected areas with the balance a mottled and moderately oxidized grayish-brown patina. Clear markings, mechanically functional, good bore is lightly pitted and needs to be cleaned. Grips very good with some light wear and minor marks.
