John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851). A framed hand-colored engraving titled Hutchins's Barnacke Goose / Anser Hutchinsh, Richd & Swain, l.c., credit to Audubon l.l., credit to Havell l.r., inscribed Plate XXLXXVII u.r., J Whatman 1836 watermark u.r.; 26 x 21.75 in. (plate size), 28 x 24 in. (sheet size).

Condition:

Toning and foxing spots. Folded edges around mount, but not laid down or adhered to mount, although the mount is taped to the mat at top, partially affecting the folded edges of sheet.
