Originally founded as Jarrard & Wilson ca 1880, Kendrick R. Wilson and Oliver C. Wilson purchased the company and formed O. C. and K. R. Wilson, Ship Chandlery and Engineers' Supplies. Based out of New Jersey and then New York City, the company was a major distributor of Plymouth Cordage Co. rope and other nautical supplies, selling to tugs, barges, ships, and yachts.
